High Roller is set to become the latest online casino to operate legally in Ontario, after its parent company High Roller Technologies confirmed it has applied for a license to access the province’s regulated online gambling market.  

The operator is looking to launch its flagship brand in the second half of 2025.  

High Roller CEO Ben Clemes said: “The submission of our licensing application to access Ontario’s regulated online gambling market is an important milestone in our company’s journey.  

“Once our application is approved, we anticipate that we will have the opportunity to launch our online casino product into the market later this year.” 

May update:

Ontario’s horse racing industry is on edge over potential U.S. tariffs that could hit Canadian breeders hard. A 25% tariff on sales to the U.S. could mean millions in losses, threatening an industry that supports over 23,000 jobs and adds nearly $2 billion into the province’s economy.
